Good morning,
Last week 6th grade received one part of their French Revolution assessment. This is due Monday, March 9th (next week). They will have had two weeks to work on it. Here, for your information, is a copy of their assignment:
In essence, students should jot down a simple piece of music and make an effort to play it on their instrument. This is a great opportunity for cross-subject skill application and encouragement for students to practice their instruments!
Some students jumped right on board, others looked determine to avoid the task. Please let me know if you have any questions about this task.
Formal Test:
Students will be given a formal written exam next Monday, as well. The test will be composed of questions based entirely on their Revolution! France game cards. They have been told that these can serve as their study guide. Most questions will be about specific events or historical figures. There will be roughly 20 questions on the test.
This week students have the opportunity (optional) to take short quizzes and earn additional cards for their decks. These quizzes can also serve as practice for next week's exam.
Thank you for your support, and please let me know if you have additional questions!
